  • Concerts!

    Well done everyone on last week's concerts. Tuesday in the Cathedral was avery impressive display of our chamber music and solos; All very accomplished and Robin Kiel was very pleased with the first performance of his guitar quartet. The singers were in great voice on Friday- good to hear all the solos, and the choirs were in fine form too; Flood! happened (well done, Martin!) and will happen again when we have had some more rain (and rehearsal time). Thanks very much to Karen and her dancers too; they looked fantastic. I was most impressed by the Rock Group- they have made huge progress this year, and the energy and skill they showed on Saturday was fabulous. A bit loud for my old ears, but I enjoyed it nonetheless!

    So well done everyone, and big thanks to all staff for their work, and especially to Hilary and her team for putting on the two performances in the Library Theatre.
