About the SMA
Sheffield Music Academy offers a new learning experience for young musicians with exceptional potential and dedication.
Our provision covers a full range of instruments and voices and a wide range of musical styles.
Individual Tuition
If you are committed to your music and are willing to work hard, come and take advantage of 1:1 tuition from first class teachers together with a full package of supporting studies.
For Ensemble Players and Soloists
Our unique partnerships enable us to offer a considerable range of expertise in a large number of areas of music, together with performance opportunities as a soloist or in ensembles.
Classes and Workshops
There will be opportunities to take part in a range of master classes and workshops from local professionals, including the exciting young players of Ensemble 360°, as well as visitors of international standing. We have recently hosted violin masterclasses with Nicola Benedetti, cello days with Bernard Gregor Smith and viola workshops with Robin Ireland.
